Random happenings

Ok, let's go back to Halloween. These are the ONLY two picture that I took that had anything to do with Halloween. We love Halloween so this year it was a pretty big disappointment. We usually have a family party, trick or treat all the grandparents, trunk or treat and then go around our neighborhood. Jackson and Alyssa were getting over croup (the only time my kids have had it). Needless to say, they were pretty grumpy. We tried to trick or treat, but Jackson just screamed and Alyssa refused to get out of the stroller. Pictures were the last thing on my mind. Hunter was Venom (the black Spiderman), so naturally we had to make Jackson Spiderman. Alyssa was a cute little fairy (not as cute as Cole though, hahahahahaha!).

We did get some pumpkin carving in though. Never, I repeat NEVER, give Jared a knife!

Hunter's masterpiece being carved.

I love when the kids fall asleep in weird places. This is so cute. It just goes to show that no matter how much they get on each others nerve's, they still love each other.

This was the work of Blue's Clues, his new addiction.

This day he was following me around before church just screaming. All you mothers know that we don't have time for that. Jared took him to watch a little football. He fell asleep, no kidding, a minute later.

At Disney on Ice. I usually like these, this one bored me though. Jared and I agree that Monsters Inc. was the best we have been to.

Our friends the Lund's, we love them;)

You know these guys.

Ariel and Flounder

Lilo and a huge Hawaiian guy...

Some random pics from tonight. He wanted his picture taken and just sat there smiling until I took it.

They are best friends again tonight...

A little side note/excuse for not blogging. I was called to be the Relief Society president a few weeks ago. It has been a big adjustment. The kids are really great about the time I have to spend away and Jared is great at picking up my slack. Some days I don't feel like I can fit everything in and some days I struggle to still be a good mother and wife. I think that is part of the reason I was given this call. I think sometimes when Heavenly Father wants something done, he kinda backs you into a corner or at least a really tight space. I try harder now more than ever to be a better person to my family.

  1. Holy Cow. RS Pres? I feel overwhelmed just Thinking about it. You'll be great though. I guess it's one of those rare opportunities that can show you that you have a lot more strengths than you knew. Good luck! And as always, Your kids are adorable!
